Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie was delighted to see his side beat one of the title contenders after beating Arsenal 2-0 at home.

“A big win. One thing we’ve tried to change from last season is to take points from the top teams. Arsenal are a great team and a red card could have changed the game a lot, but it’s good to beat a team that’s fighting for the title.”

“We need to be more confident from here. We were disappointed with the result against Leicester before the international break because we knew we had a tough game coming up, but tonight showed we can beat these teams. We’ve to go into the next game against Villa with the same mindset.”

On Saliba’s red card: “Honestly, I haven’t looked at it yet. I just know that Eva (Evanilson) was on goal and I didn’t think the defender could play the ball, so for me it was a red card.”

On his goal: “It came from training. Normally I don’t get this chance, but credit to Sean Cooper for giving us a variety of set-pieces. He gives us something new to try every game.”

“To do that with all the substitutes coming on โปรโมชั่น ufabet is great. Justin (Kluivert) did a great job from the corner and it was great to see it go in the net.”
